Level 3

This level is designed for those who can read the Quran with few or no clear mistakes and are able to correct themselves upon warning.
At this level, the main focus is applying tajweed rules and avoiding hidden mistakes (lahn Khafi).
Unlike clear mistakes, hidden mistakes do not change the letter or the word but are rather an absence of the subtle properties of letters which contribute to the completeness and beauty of the recitation.
Level three has 2 units. Each unit takes 2 semesters.

Unit 1

Tilawah: 1 page weekly (the surahs allocated in that year's curriculum)

Memorization: From surah Al-A'la till surah An-Nas

Unit 2

Tilawah: 1 page weekly (the surahs allocated in that year's curriculum)

Memorization: From surah An-Naba till surah An-Nas

Requirements to proceed to the upper level:

Final verbal tilawah examination with a passing mark of 80

Memorization of juz An-Naba.
